Christmas Parties (Dec 14/15)

The only reason I say Christmas "Parties" was because of a little thing we had after Japanese
class on Saturday. The rest of the weekend was all Anita's Christmas party where we stayed
overnight at her Nagasaki host parent's house.

From the party at Junshin High School, where I have Japanese class. The girls (except
Anita) are university students studying teaching English as a second language, and they
practice on us helpless foreigners! (Clearly, there are more students than just me and
Anita, but I don't have pictures of them)

Not only were we a bunch of crazy gaijins (foreigners) in Hamanomachi, but we were also crazy gaijins wearing reindeer antlers! It was a Christmas party, after all!

Best video game ever! Horse racing! But you had to be there...

Mathilde on the streetcar, naturally still wearing reindeer antlers :)

Anita, Suus, and Timo, also on the streetcar, also wearing reindeer antlers! (Well, not Suus, she has her own special gold bow)

On our way to pick up Jose at the train station (still wearing reindeer antlers) we stopped and chatted with these buskers for a while. Cool guys!

Kawaii!

Little Spielberg

As cliche as it sounds, yes, we actually did sit around the piano singing for a bit. But we didn't really have music, and neither Anita or I could remember very much, so we didn't do it very long.

A Christmas tree! And opening presents! Yay!

Could there be a more perfect Christmas present? The pink shirt!!!
