School Trip to Hokkaido
北海道へ修学旅行

For those of you who don't know, Hokkaido is the northern most of the four main islands
that make up Japan. I think every high school in the country has one of these school trips
to somewhere fantastic like Hokkaido, China, or Australia, and EVERYBODY in the ENTIRE grade
goes! That means, from Kaisei (my school), over four hundred kids went. Wow! We went for five
days we went skiing for three days solid! Wow!

Me and Ryouta

私と良太

Ryouta and Fuchiyama lying on a futon, and that's Koujirou's head that Fuchiyama has his hand on.

All decked out in our crazily ugly coloured schoolbus yellow (or orange... whatever) snowsuits. (Me, Fuchiyama, Koujirou, and Kura)

Above left, you see my attempt to eat around all the bones and exoskeletons in this particular selection of Japanese food, while on the right you see how Ryouta just ignored all that and ate the whole bit... except for that one shrimp... but wait, oh yeah, look at that... right on the left there, he's eating that too!

Cooking our lamb at the Sapporo Bier Garden.

Kura and Ryouta playing in the snow :)

雪で遊んでいます

Ok, I know, this is a really bad picture, but if it turned out it would have been nice, that's the point. I think the light was bad or something... but believe it or not I think I can actually tell who all those people are... Kengo, Mori, Kuchiishi, and Ryouta... maybe...

Kura sleeping on the bus.

Snow! It was just like being back home. I bet everyone back home would say they'd like to spend some time in this crazy Nagasaki weather (I still don't think it's gone below zero, except for one fluke day where it sort of snowed, but not really) but I miss it!

Crazy!!!
